Vampire Academy Review

So we had the privilege to be invited to a private screening of Vampire Academy in Paris thanks to Metropolitan_Fr and waytobluefr, who also offered us unbelievable gifts.

We can't wait for everyone to watch the film! Comes out on March 5th in France!

As a Die-Hard Fan: 8.75/10

As a Non-Fan:7/10

After several years of waiting... I can say that I'm not disappointed. First of all, the movie is true to the book. But that's not it, the movie add few scenes that bring something fresh. The amount of humor is good. The action scenes are mind blowing. And finally each member of the cast is amazing! 

But as you can imagine, I'll talk a bit longer about Dom... he was exceptional! The smirk, the sarcasm, he had it all. He perfectly portrayed Christian, he embodied Christian to our delight! His relationship with Rose was way more developed than in the book, and I loved it!

The movie isn't perfect (strange editing, too rushed, and lots of cutted scenes) but it's a very good movie and extremely enjoyable.

Ma favorite scene was the dream sequence... Dom was mind blowing as Christian-Strigoï and see him fight with Dimitri took my breathe away...

I can't wait for the other members of Dom Sherwood News to be able to watch the movie! - Val

Nous avons eu le privilège d'être invités à la projection privée de Vampire Academy en avant-première à Paris grâce à Metropolitan_Fr et waytobluefr, qui nous ont également offert d'incroyables cadeaux. 

Nous avons hâte que tout le monde soit capable de regarder le film! Sortie française le 5 mars!

Après des années d'attente... je peux dire que je ne suis pas déçue. Avant tout le film respecte le livre. Mais ce n'est pas que cela, le film ajoute des scènes qui amènent de la fraicheur et du mordant. L'humour est bien dosé. Les scènes d'action sont épatantes. Et enfin, chaque membre du cast est incroyable! 

Mais comme vous pouvez l'imaginer je vais m'attarder plus longtemps sur Dom... Il était exceptionnel! Le sourire, le sarcasme, tout était là. Il a parfaitement interpreté Christian, il est devenu Christian et à notre plus grand plaisir! Sa relation avec Rose était beaucoup plus développé que dans le livre, ce que j'ai adoré! 

Le film n'est pas parfait (montage étrange, trop rapide, scènes coupées) mais c'est un très bon film que tout le monde peut apprécier!

Ma scène préférée était la séquence du rêve... Dom était just INCROYABLE en Strigoï et le voir se battre avec Dimitri était à couper le souffle...
